Beyond Our Website: Real Resources for Missouri Small Businesses
We build websites and AI tools for a living, but a business's success obviously doesn't start or end with its website. Since we work with small businesses across Springfield, Kansas City, Joplin, Branson, and everywhere in between, here are a few genuinely useful outside resources worth knowing about — none of them ours, none of them requiring you to buy anything.
Free one-on-one mentorship: SCORE
SCORE pairs small business owners with volunteer mentors — often retired executives or industry veterans — for free, confidential business counseling, covering everything from writing a business plan to pricing strategy. The Southwest Missouri chapter serves the Springfield and Joplin area directly.
State-backed consulting: the Missouri SBDC
The Missouri Small Business Development Center offers no-cost, one-on-one advising and training, with a regional office based in Springfield through Missouri State University's eFactory. If you're weighing a loan, a major hire, or an expansion decision, this is a genuinely useful second opinion before committing.
Local connection and advocacy: your Chamber of Commerce
A Chamber membership isn't just a logo for your footer — the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, for example, runs real advocacy, workforce, and networking programs for over 1,500 member businesses. If your business is based elsewhere in Missouri, your local Chamber almost certainly runs something similar.

Nobody builds a real business alone — the businesses that grow fastest are usually the ones that ask for help earliest, not latest.
Where we fit into that picture
Our part is narrower and more specific: making sure the digital side — your website, your search visibility, your hosting, and increasingly your AI-driven customer response — is as solid as the rest of the business you're building. If you've used any of the resources above, or have a local organization you think other Missouri business owners should know about, we'd genuinely like to hear about it.
